The Polimlje — a valley that nourishes

Prijepolje is located in southwest Serbia, nestled at 450 meters above sea level between the majestic Zlatar Mountains and the Lim River. This region, known as Polimlje, has been a fertile heartland of agriculture for centuries: gentle slopes, clean mountain air, nutrient-rich soils, and a unique microclimate that allows fruit and grains to thrive under optimal conditions.

The valley is protected by the Zlatar Mountains, whose highest peak rises 1,627 meters into the sky. The combination of a continental climate with Mediterranean influence provides warm, sunny summers and sufficient rainfall — ideal conditions for aromatic fruits, strong berries, and nutrient-rich grains.

Zlatar — the mountain that tastes

The Zlatar Mountains are considered one of the most beautiful mountains in Serbia: deep pine forests, emerald green mountain lakes, crystal clear springs and air of such quality that the region officially holds the status of a climatic health resort. On these pastures, slopes and in these valleys grow the raw materials that make Volim something special.

The fruits benefit from the altitude, the mineral-rich soils of the Dinaric Alps, and long hours of sunshine. Raspberries, blackberries, and sour cherries develop a deep, intense aroma here — natural, undisturbed, with time.

Volim means "I love" in Serbian — and this name says it all. The fruits are hand-picked, gently processed, and refined into juices, jams, pasta, and frozen specialties without unnecessary additives.
